The Chrisley Family Returns to Reality TV in New Lifetime Series, Will Expose 'the Raw Truth of Their Lives' (Exclusive) (2025)

The Chrisley family is officially returning to a screen near you — and this time, they're not holding back.

PEOPLE can exclusively reveal that the famous brood's new series, currently named The Untitled Chrisleys Project, has officially been greenlit at Lifetime. The project arrives two years after Chrisley Knows Best wrapped on the USA Network in 2023 after 10 seasons. It also comes as Chase Chrisley,Savannah Chrisley,Grayson Chrisley,Chloe ChrisleyandNanny Faye Chrisley continue to navigate patriarchs ToddandJulie Chrisley's imprisonment.

Per an official logline from the network, "the Chrisleys don’t know best anymore, but they’re doing their best to be there for each other. The family faces the challenge of carrying on the Chrisley name and legacy on their own with only phone calls and brief visits with their incarcerated parents."

"While Savannah maintains custody of her younger siblings, Chloe and Grayson, she has been fighting tirelessly for a Presidential pardon to free her parents," the description continues. "Meanwhile, Chase is addressing some life struggles while building his new business and navigating his relationship with girlfriend Jodi."

The multigenerational family will also be "exposing the raw truth of their lives — past and present — and the reality is far different from what audiences have seen before."

"The family faces a critical point in their lives that will either make the family bond stronger or leave it shattered forever. This series delivers an unfiltered, deeply personal look at their journey and introduces the real Chrisleys as they navigate this new chapter."

The series, which hails from Bunim/Murray Productions, is slated to premiere later this year.

It's being produced by Bunim/Murray Productions, apartof Banijay Americas, with Julie Pizzi, Farnaz Farjam, Jesse Daniels, Rit Saraswat, Savannah Chrisley and Chase Chrisley serving as executive producers. Nicole Blais is also serving as co-executive producer, while Brie Miranda Bryant and Nicole Vogel executive produce for Lifetime.

PEOPLE previously broke the news in August 2023 that Chase, Savannah, Grayson, Chleo and Nanny Fayewere returning for a series produced by Scout Productions. However, earlier this year, Savannah, 27, provided an update on what has delayed their process.

"We were working with a production company, and things were going great," theUnlocked with Savannah Chrisleypodcast host told PEOPLE. "And then, there were some things that were done that I did not like."

Savannah continued, "I backed out. I stepped away, and I said, 'I'm done. I am not working. I'm not getting myself in a situation I don't feel comfortable and safe in."

At the time, the Good Girl RX founder knew filming was going "to start happening quick" under their new deal with a then-unnamed but "very well-known big production company."

"I have been so focused on all of my other businesses, and mom and dad, that I let agents deal with the TV side of things," she added.
